Whitney Johnson - Life Enrichment Coordinator
Whitney is an Activities Director with Ayers Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. In this role, Whitney leads her team in providing for our resident’s quality of life, including day-to-day activities, working with volunteers, and day trips/outings. She moved to Florida in 2000 and has been a Trenton resident for 22 years; a transplant from Indiana. Whitney has been working in Human Services since 2016. She is a qualified Activities Director, graduating from the Activity Director Network in 2021, and is working on her National Certification from the NCCAP (National Certification Council for Activity Professionals – certification given only if meets the highest CMS standard to deliver life-enriching activity programs). With both of her maternal grandparents having suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease, she is very supportive of the Alzheimer’s Association through Ayers. These personal experiences are what led Whitney to be an advocate for the elderly and the disabled.
